Our client in the Manufacturing Industry based at 49250, Jonesville, Michigan, United States is looking to hire a Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Technician and QA Technician.
Attendance:
This position requires full-time attendance.
Travel:
To fulfill the responsibility of this position you may be required to drive/or fly to locations of a customer or supplier and/or attend training as required. Overnight stays may be required.
Agility/Physical Requirements:
This position may require maneuvering/lifting of heavy equipment such as products and or gages. Standing and walking for long periods of time are essential functions of the position.
Work Environment:
This position will be assigned to a working office area within the Quality Assurance Lab. General use of office equipment is essential to perform the job in its entirety i.e. computers, telephones, fax and copy machines, etc. This position will also be assigned to the manufacturing environment, many of the daily tasks will be in the manufacturing environment which includes loud machinery, fluctuating temperatures, concrete or cement floors, oils and coolants.
JOB DESCRIPTION: SHIFT SUPERVISOR:
Main Purpose of Job:
Assist the shift supervisor in coordinating the activities of the production associates. Assigns duties by production priorities and work availability. Manages and provides leadership to area production associates to achieve good quality products that meet the prevailing production schedule(s) and the requirements of both internal and external customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage, motivate and deploy employees to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
· Become well versed in production MRP system for production reporting and reconciliation for accuracy.
· Ensure that materials are available to maintain maximum production efficiency.
· Ensure that all training needs are being met and documentation is provided to show competence of the operator.
· Ensure that all manufactured product meets both internal and customer specifications.
· Perform first and last piece preparation for all parts produced in assigned work area.
· Ensure that parts are final audited and documentation is correct prior to shipment.
· Ensure that production associates comply with the company safety policies and rules at all times.
· Perform all duties of the production supervisor in his/her absence.
GENERAL:
· Complete all administrative tasks as required.
· Pro-actively participate in company-wide continuous improvement activities.
· Work diligently to constantly reduce the possibility of manufacturing non-conforming products.
· Insure that all employees work in accordance with all safety regulations and consider the safety of other personnel of utmost importance at all times.
· Work in accordance and support company policies and procedures at all times.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the Division Manager. This position assist in supervising production associates and daily interaction with the support staff and management as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Fully trained in company policies and procedures
Proven ability to operate all equipment in assigned cells
Fully trained in the use of quality measuring tools and gages
Proven ability to perform minor repairs and changeovers on equipment
Attend a leadership and annual training course approved by management
JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
To perform both routine and preventative maintenance to plant and equipment to ensure that good quality parts, maximum up time and efficiency are achieved at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure that all equipment in your designated primary cell(s) is kept in good working order to produce good quality parts with maximum up time and efficiency.
· Ensure that all work orders and tasks allocated to you by your supervisor(s) are completed successfully and in an efficient manner.
· Complete all preventative maintenance procedures in your designated primary work cell(s) in accordance with the relevant preventative maintenance schedule(s).
· Ensure that pre-determined inventory levels are maintained either on the line or in the tool crib for all identified perishable tools required in your primary work cell(s).
· May be required to ensure that all tooling for your primary line is identified, kept in good working condition and stored as appropriate.
· May be required to assist manufacturing in setting up production intent tools.
· Well versed in equipment movement and relocation within the plant.
GENERAL:

This position reports to the Maintenance Lead and dotted line to the Production Supervisor.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Incumbent must exhibit skills in one or more of the following areas:
· Previous experience in general maintenance of plant and equipment
· Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
· Knowledge of pneumatic systems and troubleshooting
· Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
· Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
JOB DESCRIPTION: QA TECHNICIAN
Main Purpose of Job:
To ensure that company quality procedures and administration are maintained to comply with the prevailing quality standard and to meet company quality objectives. By means of audit and metrological testing ensure that products meet both the product and customer specifications on a continual basis. To be the company Quality Management System’s Management Representative.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain the incoming inspection system for raw and WIP material
· Perform daily floor audits to ensure that product specifications are met
· Maintain a recordkeeping system for all necessary documentation for product tracability
· Quality Assurance liaison for production associates
· Perform capability studies to ensure accuracy of product
· Perform product inspections as required and sort product as needed for internal as well as external purposes
· Maintain the lab area and all related equipment
· Trains new hires on proper gaging technique and gage function on how it relates to customer product.
· Participates in problem solving and customer corrective actions
· Maintains Customer concern log and tracking files.
MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE SPECIFIC
· Ensue that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained
· Report to top management on the performance of the QMS highlighting any area for improvement
· Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
· Perform audits to ISO standards
GENERAL:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· GED and/or 3 years prior experience with internal quality systems
· To be adept in both measurement devices and methods
· Strong administrative skills. Person must be able to work under their own initiative, in order to plan and complete multiple tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
· Computer literate – experience with computer systems, MS Excel, Word and email software.
· Team player with good communication skills. Must be customer service focused.
· Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail driven
· Willing to attend internal & external training courses as needed
