Operate production machinery and/or work within production cell to produce quality parts in a safe and efficient manner to meet the objective of the business.

Associate may be required to work with insulation material used in our clients production process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Produce production parts efficiently, in accordance with all operating instructions, to meet minimum quality specifications.

· Endeavor to achieve or beat production targets as appropriate.

· Work with care in accordance with all safety requirements and instructions.

· Maintain a safe and tidy workplace at all times.

· Complete all documentation necessary for traceability of product, in accordance with instructions and training.

· Read, understand and work in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Perform all quality checks as required per the work instructions.

· Complete all preventative maintenance as required per work instructions.

GENERAL:

· Pro-actively participate in company-wide continuous improvement activities.

· Work diligently to constantly reduce the possibility of manufacturing non-conforming products.

· Insure that all employees work in accordance with all safety regulations and consider the safety of other personnel of utmost importance at all times.

· Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures at all times.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

This position reports directly to the shift supervisor. Daily interaction and communication with other production associates and support staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to read and write

· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

· Ability to communicate with all members of the staff

· Self motivated and ability to work independently when needed

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Attention to detail is essential to producing products

Attendance:

This position requires full-time attendance

Agility/Physical Requirements:

This position requires maneuvering and lifting of equipment such as, tools and machinery and in process production products up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day, walking and climbing is an essential function for this position as well as repetitive movements of the upper extremities such as hands and wrists and waist.

Work Environment:

This position will be assigned to the manufacturing environment. The manufacturing environment includes loud machinery, fluctuating temperatures, concrete or cement floors, oils and coolants. Many production lines work in a team orientated environment.
