Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who has a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience as a forklift operator for one of our clients located in the city of Brantford.
Job Requirement:
- Grade 12 High School Education and equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- RF Scanning experience
- Able to speak, read and write English
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).
- Assist and participate in conducting cycle counts.
- Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
- Ensure all shipments leave on time with necessary documentation.
- Audits the condition of each shipment prior to loading. Ensure trucks are loaded properly and safely.
- Must comply with the company’s safety policies while using lifting devices and clean initiative standards.
- Other functions and responsibilities as required.
- Always wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment.
Shift timing-
Monday – Friday ( 3pm- 11pm)
Thursday – Sunday (11pm – 7am)
Saturday and Sunday (7am – 5pm)
Pay Rate – $19- $21 (Based on the experience)
