Duties and Responsibilities:

Support facility LAN/WAN both wired (switches) and wireless (access points).
Configure and install personal computers (PC), software, label printers, scanners, office printers and equipment and maintains shop floor computers systems.
Trains users and supervisors on software and hardware on-site .
Provide technical support to office staff as well as monitoring performance shop floor computers.
Interfaces with shop floor automation specialists to troubleshoot PLC connectivity issues.
IP phone setup and administration.
Administration of security door and cameras.
Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software for maintenance, licensing, and valuation purposes.
Prepares purchase orders, sources new IT equipment via a quotation processes
Willingness to support a 24/7 production environment.
Effectively document department processes & procedures.
Any other duties as assigned by IT Network Manager & Business Systems Controller to ensure the ongoing maintenance of Client’s IT Environment.

Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10, 11.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 with the ability to configure patches to keep pace with current software.
Strong problem solving ability, demonstrating good troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Be prompt, directed, reliable, self-motivated and highly dependable.
Keen attention to detail and able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to CMS ERP system would be an asset.
Familiarity with PLC fundamentals & Boolean logic.
Basic level understanding of SQL databases.
Willingness to learn to keep pace with a changing business and adapting to evolving IT technology.
