Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Line Lead for one of our clients in the Automotive Manufacturing industry. The Line Lead will oversee the production line, ensuring efficiency and quality control throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the line

· Train & assess new employees on proper use of machines and equipment

· Work with QA and Operators to resolve quality issues

· Recommend corrective action for performance or trouble shooting production issues

· Set up machines and perform first offs

· Create production procedures and set up sheets for approval, review for continuous improvement opportunities

· Control material movement from RAW materials to completed parts to ship

· Maintain shop supplies required for production, notify appropriate persons of shortages

· Trouble shoot, report and perform minor maintenance on machines

· Assist in time studies for production standards

· Run production jobs meeting or exceeding time standards

· Back-up for supervisor during absences.

· Effectively communicate with all employees, supervisors, and managers on daily production demands

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
– Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed

Qualifications:

– Experience in Automotive Manufacturing or related field
– Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
– Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus
