Contract to Hire: (12 month – RTH)
Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer
Location – Westlake, TEXAS or Merrimack, NEW HAMPSHIRE

M-F (Standard EST Business Hours)

Special Instructions:

Strong Golang programming skills, along with Kubernetes skills. Non-local candidates who are going to relocate are acceptable, but if they are local to WLK or Merrimack, Client expects them to come onsite for in person interviews.

Interview Process: 2 rounds, first is tech round, with coding exercise. Second is behavioral with manager and Squad Lead.

Top Skills:

• Golang API Development
• Kubernetes, creating Helm Charts, K8’s etc.
• AWS Public skills.

The Expertise and Skills required

• Experience building applications in Go.
• Experience in extending Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources.
• Understanding of Kubernetes core concepts.
• Hands-on development experience working with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
• Hands on experience building scalable cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and principles
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
• Passion for the DevOps culture.

Bonus skills

• Familiarity with GitOps based tooling (ArgoCD)
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with business stakeholders to drive adoption of best practices and architectural excellence
