A Project Coordinator is a professional who is often involved in the day-to-day operations of their assigned projects. They organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between team members and managers.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Handle ongoing client projects and change requests from initiation to post-launch support
- In-depth understanding of requirements and providing teams with detailed requirement documentation
- Creation, maintenance and delivery of project, solution and design documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, maintain logs for issue tracking, action items, changes, risks, and deployment schedules
- Hold regular meetings to monitor project progress
- Review business requirement documentation, determine feasibility and assess changes in requirements to highlight and communicate items outside the scope
- Within a project, define priorities and ensure deliverables are aligned with project timelines
- Assess risks and provide stakeholders analysis of the impact on project timelines, cost and delivery
- Research and evaluation of various technologies to meet business requirements
- Provide administrative and technical support of clerical nature as required
- Create and maintain project documentation and application/system libraries
- Track project change requests (PCRs)
- Work independently and self-manage priorities and timelines for various projects
- Attend client in-person and virtual meetings for solution development and review
- Work closely with the development teams to handle application-related tasks and support staff for application issues
- Managing project and resourcing costs to ensure overall project profitability
- Coordinate with security team to ensure application security and audit readiness
- Execute changes within the established change management process
Requirements:-
- Post-secondary school education
- A minimum of 2 – 3 years working as a Project Coordinator or equivalent role
- Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple client groups and areas
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stay productive under minimal supervision
