Our client in Cambridge, ON is hiring for an experienced CNC Laser Operator who is flexible to do general labor duties as well!
Responsibilities:
The laser operator is responsible for the startup, Setup, adjustment during the shift and shut down of the CNC laser cutting system. The operator is responsible for the quality of cut, loading and unloading material, parts and scrap and skidding or boxing finished parts.
Qualifications or Skill Required:
• Able to setup multiple materials and thickness on laser machines.
• Blueprint reading experience
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Strong math skills including converting fractions to decimals
• Ability to use and read micrometer and vernier
• Propane forklift experience or training
• Knowledge of machine G-Code
• Knowledge of different types of sheet steel and stainless
