Studenttimes Staffing Solutions is a professional recruitment agency that specializes in providing permanent, temporary, and contractual staffing solutions, for both full-time jobs and part-time job. Offices in Mississauga | Brantford | Cambridge – Ontario, Canada.
We are looking for machine Operator who will be responsible for safely and effectively processing parts produced by the injection moulding machines, utilizing documented work instructions, and quality approved samples to prepare product for shipment to the customer for one of our client located in Cambridge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Trim all parts according to the documented work instructions and complete all secondary operations as directed by the Supervisor or Team Leader
- Visually inspect all product to the approved first off sample
- Read and understand all requirements documented on the Operator instruction sheets
- Keep counts of all rejected/scrapped product on scrap sheets
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
- Work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures and policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- PPE required: safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toe shoes or boots
- Fast-paced environment
- Repetitive work, noisy and slippery at times
- Must be able to stand and walk for full shift (10hr-12hr)
- Overtime as required
