Studenttimes Staffing Solutions is a professional recruitment agency that specializes in providing permanent, temporary, and contractual staffing solutions, for both full-time jobs and a part-time job. Offices in Mississauga | Brantford | Cambridge – Ontario, Canada.
We are currently seeking reliable and deadline-driven MIG welders to join our team of skilled professionals to add to our growing team for afternoon and Night Shifts.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Perform MIG welding on steel products and equipment
- Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Previous experience performing torch cutting
- Comfortable using various power and hand tools
- Must be able to read shop drawings and blueprints
- Ideal candidates must be able to work in a team environment
- General shop knowledge an asset
- Previous welding experience required
Qualifications:
- Welding Certificate of Diploma
- MIG welding experience will be considered an asset
- 1 year of welding/fitting experience
- Possesses a strong, mechanical aptitude
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
