Marketing Managers are responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

Responsibilities:-

  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies, marketing plans, materials and budgets that will positively impact growth goals of the company (recruiting, retention, franchise sales, product marketing).
  • Lead the execution of marketing materials to support campaigns, launches, etc. Work closely with design team/content/comms team to ensure high quality materials are produced and communication to all parties is delivered.
  • Work with ad agency or internal digital media team to place creative campaigns, provide prospect lists (at least twice a year), creative files, manage traffic sheet, collect analytics, adjust campaigns as needed and ensure goals are being met.
  • Manage joinremax.ca, remax-franchise.com (.ca transition) and any other resource websites that support internal or external audiences. Update content and images as needed, ensure links are working, monitor traffic and lead counts. Help manage transition of the recruiting and franchise sites to WordPress.
  • Execute internal launch plans for marketing initiatives that drive network adoption and/or awareness, including office/broker/owner presentations as needed.
  • Provide region development with materials and information to better support brokerages in their recruiting/retention efforts; this includes updating and keeping current the benefits and services presentation.
  • Manage the distribution and access of recruiting and retention materials for broker/owners.
  • Provide franchise sales team materials and information to support sales efforts.
  • Work with comms to ensure they have the information needed each week to communicate to broker/owner network; review and approve weekly comms.
  • Manage email marketing initiatives for recruiting and franchise sales reaching prospects that communicates value prop, events and other relevant information. Ensure content is well received, track KPI and adjust campaign as needed.
  • Track KPIs in flowchart/spreadsheet to ensure goals are reached; ensure current strategy spend is on budget for year without exceeding total budget.
  • Remain current on industry developments, including, but not limited to: real estate trends, new opportunities, threats, competitor messaging and ways to compete and remain out front of the industry.
  • Partner with the competitive intelligence team to help tell our story and value prop better than competitors—arming Broker/Owners with what they need locally too.
  • Develop new ideas and implementation plans for marketing tools and resources that empower the network to grow and attract/retain agents.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to align Canadian R+R and franchise sales strategies, initiatives and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Canadian leadership team to understand priorities, challenges, goals, etc. to drive Canadian R+R and FS strategies.
  • Other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned or needed by the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year University degree
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, franchise marketing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to organize and manage detail work, as well as work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • Must have significant digital advertising experience, including deep exposure to campaign success metrics, optimization formulas, business metrics, business financial modeling and business reports
  • B2B and B2C experience preferred with a demonstrated ability to integrate various customer segments and experiences for marketing efficacy (Broker/Owners to agents and teams to consumers)
  • Strong analytical skills: must be comfortable working with and presenting sophisticated metrics and analyses utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint.
