Studenttimes Staffing Solutions is a professional recruitment agency that specializes in providing permanent, temporary, and contractual staffing solutions, for both full-time jobs and part-time job. Offices in Mississauga | Brantford | Cambridge – Ontario, Canada.

We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant/Information Desk who will become a part of the team in one of the school. It is a close-knit team that values integrity, hard work, accountability and innovation. The school is located in Brampton, Ontario and you will be working from this location.

Moreover, they offer benefits  after completion of 6 months probation on the basis of full contribution to group plan coming from them.

Job Responsibilities  :

  • Greeting visitors and staff
  • Answering and making phone calls professionally
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service while greeting prospective students and clients
  • Effective email communication with prospective, current and past students, instructors & clients
  • Update, process and file student information
  • Implement policies and procedures
  • Maintain attendance records and accounts receivable
  • Follow up account receivables
  • Assist instructors with scheduling, printing & filing
  • Processing, auditing of physical and online student files
  • Process application for admissions
  • Obtain agreements for placement with businesses
  • Keeping track of inventory, classroom & office supplies
  • Meet with potential businesses to obtain placement positions or jobs for students
  • Coordinate with placement hosts schedules for student placement
  • Help students with resume updating, interview skills and mock interviews
  • Make sure student files are complete and organized as per ministry requirements
  • Order placement and follow-up with vendors
  • Data entry and coordination with accountant
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Secondary School/ Diploma in office administration (Preferred)
  • administrative assistant experience : 1 year (Required)
  • Information desk/receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Private Career College work experience : 1 year (preferred)
  • Weekend availability

Experience & Skills required:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in an administrative role
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in customer-service
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Must be punctual, responsible, energetic and willing to perform independently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Quick learner and team worker

Please note that this role requires an individual who has a Canadian working experience and therefore we encourage only those individuals to apply. This role may require working on Saturdays so we need a candidate who is available on weekends as well.
